Course Description
In daily practice, dentists usually face several questions and expectations from the patients in terms of the shape and brightness, and natural-looking teeth. In order to achieve the best results, one should understand how to match the patient's ideas with reality. One of the most important features of a good-looking restoration is how to create well-suited anatomy and a surface that is as smooth as enamel which the former requires some special effects called “ILLUSION”.
These topics will be discussed in this in-person 4 hours seminar
Course Aim & Objectives
By attending this seminar, dentists will learn:
- Different polishing systems and tools.
- Variety of direct composite materials
- How to create proper anatomy while performing finishing and polishing
- How to modify the anatomy to make different looks of the restoration to match its individuality
Instructor Bio
Dr. Ali Shakib
Dr. Ali Shakib received his DDS and MS in restorative and esthetic dentistry from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. Having the experience of 23 years in Esthetic dentistry, He is a former assistant professor in Shahed dental school , Tehran - Iran, department of restorative and esthetic dentistry for 10 years.
At his private practice in Toronto, Brookdale Dentistry, he is known for esthetic and cosmetic dentistry. He passed all Canadian dental equivalency exams with high scores and is one of the instructors for EverSmiles’ Clinical Skills training course and provides lectures on Esthetic and Cosmetic dentistry.
