Oral Maxillofacial Pathologist
The primary goal of this course is to simplified the classification and to provide you an application approach for treatment, you will learn the process of clinical differential diagnosis of diseases and lesions of the oral cavity.
Course Description
The first step in successful therapeutic management of a patient with an oral cavity disease or lesion depends upon creating a differential diagnosis.
Course Aim & Objectives
- Classify common oral lesions based on their clinical features using a decision tree (flowchart).
- Describe the clinical features that are characteristic of each class of oral cavity lesions in the decision tree.
- Describe the characteristic or unique clinical features of the most common and/or important diseases of the oral cavity including ulcers, red lesions and white lesions.
- Perform a step-by-step clinical differential diagnosis, using the decision tree, for patients with common oral cavity lesions especially diseases of oral mucosa.
Instructor Bio
Dr. Pourya Motahari
Dr.Motahari received his DDS from Tehran University and is specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. He was an assistant professor at Tehran University and is the former Vice President of Dental Association.
