Course Description
● Biological drilling Learn Biological Drilling at low speed without irrigation. A technique developed by BTI that facilitates the collection of bone when the socket is being prepared to insert an implant so that it can be used as an autograft.
● Osseointegration Understand the combination of the multi and nano-rough surface of implants with Plasma Rich Growth Factors to make the best bioactive surface, achieving shorter osseointegration times than in standard treatments as well as greater apposition and bone quality.
● Minimally invasive solutions Understand the minimally invasive and extremely predictable solutions for different problems in severely resorbed atrophic maxillae: Tiny implants for very narrow crests and short implants for height problems.
● BioBlock prosthetics Achieve long term Biological & Hermetic seal and Biomechanical stability with BioBlock prosthetics

Instructor Bio
Dr. Maziar Shahzad Dowlatshahi
DDS. Master in Periodontology
Dr Dolatshahi was an Assistant Professor and the head of research department of Periodontology at Jundishapur Dental School,Ahwaz,Iran. His Private Practice is Limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, more than 15000 Implant Placement.
He is an Dentalxp expert and an MNEC lecturer. He has had many Lectures and presentations in Iranian and International Congresses and Symposiums in UAE, South Korea, Romania and Switzerland.He was also an Instructor in many Hands-on training courses; Iran, UAE, Switzerland and South Korea. He recently published a book called Decision making in Periodontics.
His Innovations:

- Development of a Decision Support System (DSS) in determining prognosis and survival time: software, Logistic regression.
Dr. Peter Ta
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Peter Ta is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in Genetics at the University of Western Ontario, and also received his DDS at the University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry (2009). Subsequently, he completed a one-year general practice residency at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, followed by specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto (2014). During specialty training, he completed a Masters of Science (MSc) in the field of bone biology, with a particular focus on bone grafting and regeneration.
Dr. Ta is an active hospital staff member at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Trillium Health Partners. He is a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Oral Surgery. He is an active member of the Halton Peel Dental Association, the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Ontario Dental Association.
