Course Description:
This education program addresses practicing dentists interested in increasing their knowledge, improving patient experience, and increasing revenue by adding Orthodontics to their practice. This mastership course consists of lectures and hands-on sessions. The course works on philosophy, diagnostic skills, and practical knowledge to increase treatment success and case acceptance.
Course Objectives:
Identify ideal cases to start incorporating orthodontic cases with Fixed system or Clear Aligners treatment in your practices including Orthodontic letters and forms .
-Compile the required Diagnostic records – Digital photography, treatment chart, study models, digital scanning, cephalometric, panorex, and periodontal exam.
-Basic Biomechanics and its Implication in Orthodontics
– learning about : Diagnosis and Treatment Planning ( Extraction or Non-Extraction, Growth Modification, Early Treatments, Surgery or Camouflage, etc.)
– Growth and Development, Phase I & Removable expansion appliances
Fixed brackets, Preadjusted Appliance
Different Archwires, elastics, power chains, open coils, separators, banding of molars
More than 100 various cases will be presented and you will see their before and after photos and radiographs . The cases , diagnosis and treatment procedure will be discussed proactively with the dentists.
The hands on sessions :
Bonding and Banding.
Inserting archwires, elastics, coil springs, auxillaries and….
Work with required pliers and instruments needed for orthodontics treament.
All the instruments and materials for hands-on sessions are provided by the Organizers.
One Bonus crash course on clear aligners. How to integrate clear aligners with knowledge in your clinical practice and how to select patients for clear aligner therapy with reducing the complications and increasing better results.
Learn how to incorporate positively in the tratment plan set up and how to manage complications and troubleshooting them.
